The Delta Chi Young Leaders Award:
In remembrance of Griffin Gladue
The Delta Chi Young Leaders Award is a scholarship intended to recognize the excellence of young men in their final year of high-school who are planning to attend the University of Alberta. The Delta Chi Fraternity is based on the values of friendship, character, justice and education; in respect to this it is looking to identify up to four young men who have demonstrated these qualities throughout their high-school years.
The recipients for this award will be chosen based on demonstrated leadership initiatives and academic merit. Applicants will be expected to express how they have practiced balance in their life to yield success. They will do this by submitting a short essay no more than 500 words explaining how they exhibit the four core values of Delta Chi: friendship, character, justice and education.
The rewards will be given out to a maximum of four young men and to a possible maximum of $1200.00. The Awards will be recognized in a formal ceremony by the end of the first month of University.
